CATEGORIES - STRATEGIC ALLOCATIONS (Funds & ETF's)
Evidentiary market performance indicates that stocks move largely by asset class [large, mid and small cap stocks-bonds and/or industries (sectors)]. It is possible to group participate by acquiring mutual funds and/or IShares (please see, "What Are IShares?"). The industry IShares are essentially static portfolios chosen by Dow Jones news services while mutual funds offer dynamic portfolios managed by management companies.60% of a stock's price movement is determined by trends in the market or the industry---not in the quality of the company.

bulletProshares ETF - Inverse Funds  - These ETF's and Inverse Funds are sub-market investments for investors who wish to have the ability to easily go short or to leverage their portfolios.  The ETF transactions are simply a stock trade while the mutual funds require the ability to buy or sell with the fund management or with your own stock broker.  Visit Yahoo Finance ETF Center.

bullet Rydex ETFs  quir

bullet ETF Sector SeriesThese are U.S. industry or sector investments created by Dow Jones and Power Share Dynamics.   These allow the creation of an industry allocated portfolio.   Visit Yahoo Finance ETF Center.
